Solution:

In response to the client’s brief, I developed multiple design concepts, each featuring varied typographic styles of her brand name and spanning a spectrum from minimalist to more intricate styles.

A comprehensive suite of designs provided a broad scope of visual concepts, ensuring the designs addressed both clarity and aesthetic appeal. Ten designs were provided to the client for her review to consider which features of the designs she liked so a final look could be achieved.

Approach:

I met the client to gain an insight into her colour palette which included; deep rose, turquoise, white, gold, and shades of brown.

I presented a selection of typographic styles to gauge her preferences, ensuring the chosen look aligned with her brand vision. The client shared her moodboard, providing a valuable perspective of her aesthetic direction. Additionally, I explored with her specific motifs she found appealing, such as bees, dried wheat, and flowers, and sought further inspiration from other distinctive features within the salon environment.

Overview:

The client Sarah Beecroft Hair is preparing to open a new salon and unveil her refreshed brand identity. She required versatile designs that could be utilised across various applications, including logos, wall artwork, and product labelling. The designs needed to communicate her company name with clarity and professionalism.

Although Sarah had a clear vision of what she did not want, she found it challenging to express her preferred style precisely. To accommodate this, the brief involved developing up to ten distinct design concepts, allowing her to review a diverse range of options and select those that best resonated with her brand vision.
